WHAT YOU CAN BRING TO MECUS
Moisture, mould, heat, indoor climate, the building envelope or construction do not behave as expected.
Damage is visible, documents conflict or the cause and technical relationship are still unclear.
Many measurements, photos, plans or files exist, but there is not yet a robust conclusion.
Workflows consume time, information is lost or digital tools do not connect cleanly.
HOW CLARITY IS CREATED
We start with your actual situation – not with a standard service.
Observations, photos, plans, measurements and documents are brought together.
We separate facts, assumptions and contradictions and examine causes and relationships.
You receive a traceable basis for review, remediation, a decision or a better process.

MECUS ENGINEERING · UNDERSTAND PROBLEMS · STRUCTURE INFORMATION · DEVELOP SOLUTIONS
MECUS helps when a problem exists but the cause, the relationships or the next sensible step are still unclear. Whether it is moisture or mould in a building, technical damage, conflicting documents, large amounts of data or a workflow that does not work: we structure the current situation, test relationships and make a robust next step visible. Civil-engineering expertise provides technical quality and personal accountability.

HOW WE HELP
MECUS is designed for situations where something is wrong, too much information is arriving at once or the sensible next step is missing. We create structure and turn an unclear situation into a reviewable basis for decisions.
Mould, moisture, heat, indoor climate, the building envelope or a construction detail is not behaving as expected?
Bring observations, measurements and boundary conditions together, test possible causes and create a robust basis for investigation, remediation or a decision.
Damage is visible, photos, plans and reports do not fit together or nobody can explain the case clearly?
Structure the documents and history, make contradictions visible and identify the decisive technical questions for the next clarification step.
Measurements, files, tables, photos or technical information exist, but they still do not produce a clear statement?
Sort the information, reveal relevant relationships and anomalies, and turn it into an understandable basis for assessment and decisions.
Processes waste time, information gets lost or people and digital tools work past each other?
Make the real workflow visible, identify bottlenecks and failure points, and develop a simpler, more robust and traceable target process.
THE MECUS METHOD
We do not start with a standard service. We start by asking what is wrong, what is unclear and which decision needs to become possible.
Photos, documents, data, observations and boundary conditions are brought together so the actual current state becomes understandable.
We separate facts, assumptions and open questions, test possible causes and look deliberately for contradictions, patterns and decisive levers.
The result is not another pile of data, but a traceable next step: further investigation, a technical measure, a decision or a better process.
ENGINEERING JUDGEMENT AS QUALITY ASSURANCE
MECUS combines systematic problem solving with civil-engineering expertise. Information is not merely sorted; it is tested for plausibility, relationships and technical meaning. We use data and automation where they help. Professional responsibility remains with a person.
You do not need to name your issue correctly in advance. We start with the real situation and first clarify what actually needs to be answered.
Observations, data, assumptions and interpretations are kept separate. Uncertainty and missing information remain visible instead of being hidden.
Digital tools and AI can support structuring and review. Technical statements and recommendations remain traceable and personally accountable.
THE ENGINEER BEHIND MECUS
Jochen Mecus is a civil engineer with a master’s degree from the Technical University of Munich and experience in research, teaching and complex laboratory and development projects. The common thread is solving unclear technical problems: structuring information, testing causes, making relationships understandable and turning them into robust decisions.
THE NEXT STEP
Simply describe what is wrong or what feels overwhelming. You can add photos, documents and data directly. Archiactor helps with the first structuring step; MECUS turns it into a technically traceable starting point and the next sensible action.
